RISK - Chapter 2 - Taking the Next Step

A dream comes true is always something we anticipated for. But what comes next? Many people are looking forward to find something better...like a better job. Though year 2007 has come to an end, but do we need to put our career to an end too? The answer might be populated with YES and NO and even MAYBE. Frankly speaking, the normal reason working adults like us who are taking the career risk to switch jobs are very common....

- current job not challenging
- boss does not pay well
- time to look for something i really like to do
- people ciao..so i also wanna ciao

Familiar with those reasons? We rarely hear people say "I won lottery so I do not want to work" or "My husband/wife/boyfriend/girlfriend are supporting my retirement plan so I want to quit". Sometimes working is just another past time for each individual or else we ended up spending 8-10 hours aimlessly. Even the riches people on world need to work. So what is the BEST reason to change?

The answer comes back to "whether it is worth taking the RISK or not?". When we want a change, we have to be very determined to carry on. There are always obstacles along the way. Dealing with them make us grow. My colleague did told me that why people still driving even they knew it would be another traffic jam in town. Life goes on no matter what the obstacles are. If we cannot change it, we must get use to it. If we can change it, make a choice and find a solution. We are living in a circle. We use to do something again and again. We use to take the same route to go to work and come back to work. Hence, either we make a change or we carry on. Taking a career risk is the same. If you take it, then expect the unexpected from the new place. If not, stay with the current one and be adaptive. Just remember to give ourselves a very strong reason when making a decision.

A dream comes true means you have another dream to make.

RISK - Chapter 1 - Career Risk

The year has finally comes to an end. Before it hits 31st, I thought of re-launch my blog again. May be it is times to speak out after 2 months of silence.

The topic of this feature will be on RISK. A simple 4 letters word with a big impact of each individual or an organisation. Indeed, I have got myself involved in this area since I took my career path in a local bank. Talking about risk, it does not apply only on financial risk but also on career risk, relationship risk, liability risk etc etc.

If you ever thought of it, the very first time you signed your employment contract, you are actually putting your life in a risk. How risky it is depends on the job you are taking. You are not sure how the job environment like, how the organisation works, how much times you need to pick up the workload, how long your probation will end and many more. No one ever thought of these little things when they apply for a job. What they normally have in mind is more to how much money I can earn to support my existing lifestyle. Sometimes, I told my friends that what you learnt from university is just a passport to the working life. The fact is 100% true. If not, please challenge me on that.

Your job will be the one that shape your career path. Your role in your company will determine who you are in the coming next 5 years or so. Your attitude to work will be the key to your success. But all you have to do is taking the RISK to be more persistence and consistence with what you do. I have heard stories from fresh graduate. The normal feedback from them for leaving the job are "Company pays very less", "Company no good", "Too much work", "I cannot stay back late" and it goes as long as the traffic jam in Federal Highway. It is only when we take the RISK to really explore what they have in the company that makes our future much brighter.

The question is more to the level of risk you are taking. The more experience you gained, the lower your risk will turn out to be. I understand that some people feel like they do not want to waste their time on sometime that does not turn out good. That is fine, so we need to question ourselves again on what best for us. Switching a job is also a big risk to take as you need to re-establish the whole interconnection again between colleagues.

So start to measure your risk level again. Big risk comes with big return but only with proper planning. So think again and set your career risk level now.

Stay tune. To be continued.......

Makan Sini Sana - Part 1 : Fatty Bak Kut Teh & Fish Head

On the Raya eve where most people were heading back to their respective hometown, I was still stucked in the the heart of Kuala Lumpur. Wondering what to have for dinner, I ended up in one of my sister's friend's makan-makan shop. Back then, it was still a stall where it parked all the tables and chairs along the shoplots' corridor. People would make their way over to eat the well-known STEAMED FISH HEAD and BAK KUT TEH. Upon arriving the place once again, I am impressed that they have rented or may be bought a shoplot to host their guests with the same delicacies.

As usual, parking spaces were limited and we ended up securing a place near a TNB building with the KEEP OUT sign. Though it was not a proper parking area, I believed Malaysian would not mind to do that for the sake of food:-) We reached our designated shop around 7.30pm and we are relatively lucky to get a space. If you do come a bit later, may be you could make a few turns to look for "Dead Chicken" to catch. Ha ha..my meaning of "Dead Chicken" aka Sei Kai is where you could take over parking space of those who were leaving the area. Anyway, I am giving a 3/5 for parking spaces here..at least i got a place..so PASSED!

Upon reaching the shop's main entrance, I could see there were still ample of tables to fill in. Everything seems to be newly bought and so far cleanliness was well-kept. Though the shop was equipped with many fans and lighting, I still saw people enjoying the feel of sitting outside of the shop. Guess human beings just could not get rid of their own habit easily. Just for your information, the kitchen was surprisingly outside of the shop and dishes were prepared similiar to old times. Once we have sat down, an average looking man came over and asked for our order immediately. We were recommended with a few dishes and finally we made up our mind to pick the followings :

1. Chicken Cooked in Wine

2. Porkless Bak Kut Teh (only mushroom. tauhu and vegetables)

3. Steamed Fish Head with Mashed Ginger ( MOST RECOMMENDED)

4. Fried Vegetables (Just to make the table look greener)

5. Oil Fried Ghost ( for the BKT)

There were 5 of us and we ordered 4 dishes. These were really too little compared to other places we went to. We used to eat as much as we wanted, hahaha...but for me, I am complacent when I am full. Anyway, I am giving a 2.5/5 for choices..still PASSED! Basically, choices' score is given based on selections that would make you feel like ordering. Some might have lots of variety but nothing much to select..that is failure!

While waiting for the arrival of the dishes, people were flowing in one by one. Youngsters, family and working adults were among the people patronising this shop. Guess what, there were almost 5-6 foreign workers in this shop helping by serving and cleaning up. They looked competence and very efficience too. Besides that, even the Lou Pan Leong was helpful enough to serve the customers too. Eventhough the business has been running for so long and quite well-known to some frequent visitors, the services were well-kept and workers were still modest when it came to meeting each customer's needs. Hence, I am giving 4/5 for services. Good job and keep it up.

Finally, our dishes were served in just 20 minutes of waiting. All came together and we could not stop from filling up our stomachs. Though I have not been here for some times, the dishes still met my expectation of quality food. Without thinking much, we placed another order of Bak Kut Teh...this time with the pork. The fish head was as nice as before, even my aunt who does not like fish ..found that it was an excellent dish. The fish was freshed. No fishy taste thanks to the mashed ginger. The Steam Chicken in Wine was another classically Chinese dish. The 'kip' tasted soft and tender with some Hua Tiew's smell. As for Bak Kut Teh, still comparable with the Klang minues the herb taste. I still preferred this version because the Klang's BKT were much more herb taste. Not forgetting too, having some great vegetables to accompany the other dishes would make a good companion. Just to ensure you never get constipation. Food quality : 4/5 ... taihen Oishi desu ne!

After all the munching and tasting, we came to an end with all empty dishes. The best thing was nothing was wasted. We, Chinese, wasted too much food for ordering too much. I was glad that this meal was completed without over-eating. The bill came and one of us settled it. All these dishes only cost us RM92 for 5 dishes + chinese tea + rice. I could say this was really affordable for family who preferred a day out of great meal in Kuala Lumpur! Affordability score would be 4/5.

Before I forget, there is this dish called Sang Kuat Pot. Heard it requires pre-order. I have not tried it yet. Would be doing so some time in future. Hope you are aware too.

Some of you might be wondering why am I talking about food. Frankly speaking, I love to eat and try new food..furthermore, I just ain't growing bigger:-p. Being able to eat is a blessing, you do not need to too much to be satisfied. My satisfaction with food is simple....affordable, taste good and of course make my tummy full NOT over-FULL. In the coming series, I will be sharing with my fellow readers on good and bad foods in town. Hope it could be additional choices for you people when deciding where an what to eat.

4th Years Plan Series : Part 19 - Expedition

On the 2nd weekend of my training expedition in Holland, my colleagues and I have decided to go The Hague aka Dan Haag. This destination was 10 minutes away from when I stayed. This was also the first time, I was using the train ticketing machine. These machines only accept chipcard and coins. Luckily, the return ticket was only 3.50 EURO. The reason why I wanterd to mention this was because buying ticket from the counter would cost me 0.50 EURO extra. Guess that was one way to encourage people to use the machine instead. The queue for the machine was not as long as those back in Malaysia. Unfortunately, since it only accepting coins..you gotta prepared your small change;-) Imagine someone have to fork out 20 EURO just to get a return ticket to Amsterdam. For your information, the highest coin denomination is 2 EURO. So guys better do not complain for paying your parking tickets in shopping complexes anymore. What I like the best about this place was their chipcard was widely used. Even my company's cafeteria is accepting it too. How I wish Malaysia will exercise such system too. If only our citizens are more educated and open to the cashless transaction.

The first stop was Den Haag Central station. We were actually heading to Madurodam. Just to brief you a bit, it was a place where miniature buildings all over Hollands are displayed in an open space. To get there, we took a tram which cost us 2.30 EURO (return ticket). Very convinience as the stop was just outside the station. Just look for plat no: 9. The journey from the station to Madurodam only took us 10 minutes and the place is filled with tourists. The ticket for an adult was a bit steep at 13 EURO. But....I think we were so lucky that one lady came to us and offerred us a discount coupons. We were stunned at first as we not sure why she was handling it to us. May be we got do our charity once a while and now we got some blessing from it..hahaha...I appreaciated the act and I regretted because I did not thank her for the good deed as she was hurried away. With that, we were paying 2.50 EURO lesser..yahoooooooo

Upon entering the building, we were amazed with the overall buildings and architectures which were nicely set on a open space. You could actually spend 30 minutes to walk around the path and enjoyed the miniatures that were a replication of great buildings in Holland. But if you were to pose for pictures and enjoying the mechanical movement of the objects displayed, it took us roughly 2 hours to complete the tour. This could be a MUST destination to stop by if you ever touched you feet in the Netherlands. I could say that there are not much attractions in Hollands other than the TULIPS, WINDMILLS, BUILDINGS, MADORUDAM and of course the R.L.D...;-)....nothing much I could elaborate, so just wait for me to upload those lovely pictures and you could see it yourself.

After this, we actually went back to the central station for lunch. We had Burger King and thre was a point of ponderfor those who planned to visit EUROPE. If you were thos money cautious type of people, be prepared to pay extra 0.35 - 0.40 EURO if you ever ask for sauces from the cashier. I could say that they do not provide really nice sauce in the fast food outlets but they normally ask their customers whether they preferred any sauce or not. If you say yes, make sure you really want it or get really to be CHARGED for something you feel un-necessary. This is something I wanted to share which might not be so IMPORTANT to the majority of the readers. Anyway, if you ever travel to the western side...just grab some packet chilli sauce and they may come in handy.

It was a short trip this Zaterdag and I finally got back to Delft on time before the flea market closed. You could get a chance to see juicy fruits, lovely flowers, sweets candies and ancient antiques for sale. And they are only open on Zaterdag. As the sun was about to come down, my group received an invitation to attend a MAKAN BUKA PUASA. Wow...isn't it wonderful...I never had such things back in Malaysia and it was memorable to have it here in Delft. It was like a feast as there are some Malays friends who came along with their specialities. We had traditional cakes, steamboats, nasi ayam and my favourite AYAM MASAK SAMBAL CILI. This meal was totally great and thank you guys for the food.......

As I retired for the day, I picked up one of the books that I brought here from Malaysia. Since I have finished "The Secret" by Rhonda Bryne so I moved on to another one. This one was co-related to "The Secret", hence I bought both of them before I came over. This book entitled "The Secret Revealed" by some Christian's writers. T.S.R is actually revealing the secret behind the secret. Hmmm.....there are truth mentioned in the book which counter attack "The Secret". Both books got their points to highlight and it seems like it is a mind game after all. After I have been reading on self-improvement books for the past 6 months, I realized that these books are just telling things that we as reader wanted to hear. If the point in the book touches our daily life or agree with our thoughts, then we would accept them as a GREAT book. Hence, I said everything is in the mind and we are the decision maker of what to accept / reject (mind-control was mentioned earlier in my write-up some time ago). Anyway, if you people have time and MONEY ....just grab those 2 books and check it out yourself. Make sure you completed "The Secret" before going into the "Revealed.." version. Tell me what you think.

If I ever finished the "Revealed.." version, I am planning to grab another one with the title "Law of Attraction". I think this book is also co-related with the other two. I hope that my target to read 100 books before 2011 will be achieved soonest possible. He he...Till then....

4th Years Plan Series : Part 18 - Exploration

Wow...a long week indeed. I have started my countdown on when I should return to my home country. The past one week was a total fun and excitement but now the product training has finally started. Guess what, my exam is tomorrow and I am doing my blog update..;-)The trainer has been trying her best to make the course really interesting. I am glad she did that since I am having fun with her interactive training course. In this part of my write-up, I just like to share a bit of my mini-tour around Holland.

Last weekend, I managed to spend my time in 2 big cities in the Netherlands. And they are Rotterdam and Amsterdam. At first, I was wondering why both the names ended with "DAM"..it is not a fowl language..but based on the definition in the Oxford Dictionary, it means : "a barrier to obstruct the flow of water"
The truth is that they are really surrrounded by water...and guess the word really fit the city name. Seems like Holland is a DAM itself..;-)

The first city I landed in was Rotterdam. Since I am staying in Delft(a small city in Holland), it only took me 15 minutes train ride to my destination. Does it sound familiar to anyone of you? If you have actually watched the movie "Who Am I", I am sure you got what I meant. That is where Jackie Chan filmed the movie. I was searching for the building where he did the fantastic stunt. And I did find it and took a couple of pictures for my collections. It was a really really tall building. See it to belive it. Well, back to the history...this is a new city developed after it was destroyed during the World Wall II. After all the rebuilding and restructuring, it was now the 2nd biggest city in the Netherlands. In Rotterdam, I could see the CUBE HOUSES too. This is one of the attraction there. Too bad, I need to pay for the entrance fee, so I took photos instead of going in..;-P....After all the walking, the weather was a bit no so good as it drizzled. Hence, I stopped by a "koffie" house to have a cup of cappucino. It costed me 2EURO. I guessed I better have it back in Coffee Bean or Starbuck...haha..To tell you another Patrick's Believe It or Not....the Dutch had 15-20 cups of coffee a day. And the offices are always equip with very advanced coffee machines. May be the convinience making them to cultivate the coffee-addiction.

The next day, I explored futher to the North where Amsterdam is located. It was an hour ride using their Sneltrain. As it is the BIGGEST city in Holland, I could see crowds and cars everywhere. Frankly speaking, I do not like it very much but it is worth a visit. Compared to KL, I still think KL is better. The first thing I did here was going for a boat ride. An hour tour around the city was great, at least you do not need to walk..haha. I saw all the bridges and of course they are well-known for the leaning building. Not forgetting too, these buildings can go up to millions of EURO and many have moved out from here. Leaning buildings are very common here so do not be surprised when you bumped into one. You do not need to go Italy to see the Pisa tower, just hop into Holland and you could see tonnes of them. The highlight of the tour was ..of course..the Red Light District. If you do not know what it really meant, just do a search in YouTube and you can get a preview of it. Having seeing it LIVE here in Holland, it was a real EYE OPENER. The tag goes "Good to see..but NOT good to touch..once taken...considered SOLD". Still do not get what i meant...GO GO GO ...search YouTube for Red Light District.

After much walking, I have decided to call it a day. Going around these places really gave me all the insight of the western world. A good exploration indeed and my OOOOhhh...WOOOOWWW....have gone whenever I came back to Malaysia. This could me my once in a life time experience. For those who are yet to explore, better think again what you could see beyond the WALL in front of you. Till then....DAAG

4th Years Plan Series : Part 17 - Law of Attraction

Oh yeah..third day of my training programme. The first week is supposed to be an introductory to the company, something like our orientation back in our college days. The difference is that it lasted much longer compared to the latter. Besides having the option to learn more about the company, i got a chance to meet new Earthlings too. Some people might think that people from the West are tall and arrogant people. Well, think again. During my 3 days visit here in Holland, I have met 2 interesting groups of Earthlings.

Firstly, on the first day here, I bumped into a Malaysian. And guess what, he is doing Master here. I was surprised to find out that small city like Delft has 2 universities. They are well-known for aerospace and irrigation engineering. Something very new to me. No wonder they have the best irrigation in Netherland. Since we are from the same country, I was invited to his house in Delft which was a few block away from my hotel.

Actually, this student I met just moved to a new house. I could not imagine that he paid 775 EURO just for this 800sq ft of covered building block. I was served with fresh apples, teh-tarik and keropok. I would really love to thank them for their hospitality. Just for your info, they are Bumiputera. I believe that the law of attraction brought us togehter. I am sure when we were in foreign country, it is much more closer when we meet someone from the same nation. Don't you think so? That is wat I called the sense of belonging as we came from the same land. Too bad that this does not apply back in Malaysia. The reason why I love travelling is because I could see things from a different point of view. Not only the weather and scenery but the people and culture. Since the election is coming soon, I am hoping that harmony should presered. A democratic country like Malaysia gives us the option to vote. So do vote for the party we trust who can preserved harmony. Just do not tarnish our country's name with critics and with songs like "N..ku ku". Just come back and start voting. Or if those people can do better, come out and get people vote for you.

The next group was colleagues who are coming from different countries all over the world. Though majority is the Dutch, we have Hongkies, German, Austria and even Moroccan. Some stayed in the same hotel and we walked to work daily. It is amazing to share views with these people. They are friendly and open-minded too. Those Dutch people are really nice and I am surprised one of them does know the Asian culture very well. I found this training as a way for me to explore even deeper instead of just fr work purposes. There was this night where we were lead to a old factory. Guess what, we cooked there. Each of us are group together and in charge of a dishes. Of course there are professionals guiding us. I was doing the soup and very satisfied with it and so does the crowd.

After all the hard work, we gathered around the round table or the long table. All of us trying out the dishes we MADE ourselves. As usual, law of attraction brought us together. We have fun and enjoyed it so much. Well, the atmosphere was amazing. If only I could have such gathering once more.

4th Years Plan Series : Part 16 - Transformation

After weeks of anticipation, I have finally reached the day where my Journey to the West starts. Just to make sure everything that I have mentioned in my Part 14 are completed, let me recapped. First of all, the 2 proposals/agreement were submitted to my partners. So far they were happy with the contents. Now they will proceed to work something out from there. Besides that, the Japanese exam which I was worried previously has ended beyond my expectation. Ganbate desune to myself. Last but not least, my preparation to Holland has reached its dateline too.

As usual, after much tips or reminder from fellows friends + colleagues, I have made it too.Lately, I have been getting new reader in my blog which I am very happy with. Unfortunately, I realised that many have not visited the blog. Is it because it is getting a bit too boring or they are just too busy. In just a blink of an eye, it is already a month since I released the first part of my 4 years series. Response was a bit satisfatory for new beginner like me with an average if 15 visitors per week. Anyway, I am hoping to reach at least 50 readers per week. At least to ensure that it is still worth for me to keep writing.

Well...this week I am gonna touch a bit of something I encountered during my flight from Malaysia to Holland. It is something co-related to my write-ups too. Just to let you know, I have finally watched Spiderman 3 on plane!! Shame on me for taking so long to see such a blockbluster movie. There are 10 senarios which I have learnt from there.
Here you go....

4 Years Plan Series - Part 15 : Self Portration

Wow, every hours..every minutes...every seconds...every miliseconds..every microseconds...have just passed by us without us noticing them. Finally we came to another week of my new write-up. Though I am 7 days out from writing one, I am totally overwhelmed with the response I got from my readers. Picking up 2 Your Say series was my biggest achieving for the week. Sometimes, you never know how much you can write until the time you act on it. I guess those who feature in my Your Say series would be surprised that they could write a lengthy comments as well. Speaking out what is within are not easy, but putting them in words are more difficult. Salute to those who have the courage and passion to share their stories here. It is an honour to have you guys/gals putting your thoughts in my blog.

Some said that my write-up are a 'photocopy' from somewhere else. Frankly speaking, most of the topics which appeared in my blog are really common to everyone. Hence, it gave an impressiong to people that they are imitations. To tell the truth, I am putting common issue in my own point of view. At the same time, I am trying to share what I have gone through as part of thos common topics. Getting the inspiration to write is not easy. Putting them into words and share it to "READERS" are not YASASHI at all. Sometimes we see people do things and we feel like it is very simple. And we tend to ignore the complexity of it. But once we got our hand into them, we shall feel what it is like in other's people 'shoe'. I challenge those who said that writing a blog is simple. Share your thoughts here and see how well you could impress your reader. Without proper thoughts and the feelings, the write up will not turn out impressive. And of course, TOKIDOKI I am happy with what I wrote and TOKIDOKI I feel my write-up is not good enough. But I wanna keep the passion to write. In some way, i strongly believe my English will improve at the same time some people in this WORLD shall find my sharing is useful. Hence, I would thank those who could meet my 100 words condition to write their sharing. I am sure without those inspiration and words from your heart, you will be able to write that much. Ganbate desu ne!!!

Alright, let's come back to my topic. What is self portration? This topic came to my mind when I was walking home from work the other day. I saw nice people along the way, pleasant one, rude one, self-fish one and crazy one as well. I am glad the salesgirl smiled to me even when I did not buy anything in the shop. I am surprised the customer service lady who assisted me with all my queries for almost 30 minutes. I am annoyed with those bikers who rule the road during the Independence Day and never thought of the safety of car drivers and themselves. All these are self-protration. What kind of value you want to protray to others? I am not talking about hypocrite here, so please omit that out when if you wish to continue reading. Of course, hypocrisy does exist - you go and settle them.

People around us have great values in them but they fear to portray them. This might be due to shyness or fear or may be the environment or society. Let us take charity for an example. Have you ever see those people who came to your table during lunch to ask for charity. I never 'bow' to this group of people. I am not portraying to be a mean person but I am just do not believe this type of collection. Instead, I go for bigger organisation. Why? Because they will do the rest for us. Just make your payment to them and they shall channel to those who in needs. The amount of contribution is solely dependent on individual capabilities. And those who do not do charity, does not mean they are not kind. Sometimes, I feel very bad since what i could do is only giving out money to charity. I am impressed by those who put their effort(physically) into helping others too. The main idea here is how you want to portray yourself is all dependence on your own thoughts. Bring out the best in oneself is very important.

Another thing is those popular stalls we had in our country. Because they are famous, people throng to those area to try out the food. If the food is nice, it is worth giving a try. What i am furious the most is the attitude of the owner. Some are really portraying a d***l. That what makes their food sucks. They lost the courtesy when they initially started those business. Guess money and reputation really change a person. I understand that when someone reach a certain level, their expectation is higher. Well, that still could be tolerated. Unfortunately, some just do not know how to be modest. Today, I went to one of a well-known seafood noodle stall for lunch in Alor. Good service and nice food. I admired these people the most. One staff even spoke Japanese to the Nihon-jin tourist. I am impressed and hope our country will be well known for their courtesy rather then the technologies. Self-portration is utmost important when it comes to recognisation. Don't you think so?

You can always smile to your own genders and it does not necessary to be the opposite sex. Be nice to people around you. As people said, what comes around and it goes around. Have you ever ask what others think about you? If not, try it out. You may find wonders from their words or even find negatives remark too. Knowing your weaknesses is not a bad idea after all. At least, you will take prevention or minimise it instaed. Though it is not easy to eliminate it but at least it gives you a second thought when you repeat it again. Did anyone tell you that you are warm-hearted? This kind of compliments can really boost your confidence. So think again how you want to portray yourself. Cultivate it and see the results. Let others take you as their IDOL. Be a good example to people around you. Not forgetting too, treasure those great values you have and share with others. Try not to change others but showcase your quality and eventually people will see it.

hi Patrick....after reading this part of ur blog....it touch my heart and reminded me of an incident which happen many many years ago....one incident which make me realize the importance of family and frens and things around us...

ok, come back to the incident....it's my best fren's mother's funeral....i still remember clearly the nite when i attended the funeral ceremony...everyone was sad with red and puffy eyes due to crying....then my best fren came out and greeted us....she was calm until we started asking her abt the detail of her mum passing....then tears start falling down....the moment i saw her tears i can't hold myself any longer...i started to cry too....i dunno why i cried along but somehow i can feel the way she felt at the moment....i was thinking of my mum that moment...i was thinking what if it happens to my mum....i can't loose my mum...i still need her tho i was 20 years old that time....that's the moment i know the importance of my mum to me...u know why i said that??

when u are young, frens tend to be more important in your life...u seems to neglect you family but u didn't realise until then....all you care is going out and have funs with frens ya!?? so from that day onwards, i start to appreciate what my mum do for me even when she's nagging cos i know it's all out of love...that incident made my bondage with my mum closer now....i even bring her out shopping or movie nowadays which my frens are shock to hear that...cos most of them just don't go out with their folks nowadays....all i wanna do is to CHERISH the moment with my mum every second i spend with her....that's the least i can do...i hope i won't REGRET when the day for her be with God....well, i guess incident happens is a process of us learning and realisation of things and experience in life....i guess all of us have their own INCIDENT of their life...it's what i call the TURNING POINT.....

hope my incident didn't bored u...till now....will be looking forward to ur new part of blog...

In conclusion, cherish people around us. And it needs time and patience. And of course lots of hard work with passion....

Hi, I'm here because I wanna let you know that eventhough I seems to be busy all the time, yet I still able to catch up till your latest episod oh.. hehe..Your thoughts in every episods reminds me on lots of memories..Makes me feel like wanna setup my own blog di..:pWell, I've some add-in on your Part-10 series...Love also means passion. What is passion? It's the STRONG FEELINGS in our heart towards a person. But how long will this "STRONG FEELINGS" last? For example, you love to eat...(anything you've tasted), you love to go...(anyplace in this world) or you love...(anyone in your mind) AND YOU REALLY LOVED...SO MUCH!!! But...as I said "HOW LONG" or "TILL WHEN"?

If you:
- eat things that you love everyday or everyweek, will you still LOVE eating it after a period of time?
- go/visit to places that you love so often, will you still LOVE to go/visit that place after a period of time?and finally...Guess what would I say here?
- be with the one you LOVE everyday, will you still LOVE him/her? Of course, I'll still love him/her la! So, that's not what I wanna say ok. But...
- If the person you love repeatly doing things tat you dun like everyday, never try "DO A LITTLE CHANGE" at all...Imagine that...how to make someone to continue loving you for another 5 or 10 years...?

You might not knowing the true reason why you love a person. Maybe because you admire his/her beauty, his/her talent, his/her style and etc... which relates to Part-14 series..AdmirationSo, what shall we do in order to have a meaningful long lasting love relation (at least for 30 years or more)? I learned from my own marriage life...so it's one of the secret tips oo.. ;) Haa...this relates to Part-5 series,

Never thought of just a little change
***没想到一点***

then it turns out to be extremely great beginning
***就能画龙点睛***

The secret tips is "A LITTLE CHANGE ON YOURSELF"...believe it or not?
As I said earlier on, u need to make a person love you for at least 30 years or more...So, for girls.."A LITTLE CHANGE":

- do a little of make-up when you're being invited/ask to go out for dinner or shopping or movie (eventhough you don't like to make-up)
- dress-up yourself a bit by wearing a bit shorter or tighten skirt (eventhough you don't like to wear short skirt)
- change ur hairstyle (perm or straightened or cut)I'm not asking you to force yourself to CHANGE, but every girls like to be pretty. It's just that you'll feel LAZY to dress yourself after married or after being with him for so many years, right? And for guys.."A LITTLE CHANGE":- buy a small little present or a piece of flower that she like or...???
- call her just to say "I LOVE YOU" or "I MISS YOU" (don't do this if you doesn't mean it)
- bring her out for a special or romantic dinner (don't give reason by saying "NO MONEY" cause some place are nice but not expensive)
- also.. dress-up yourself a bit (not always T-shirt with jeans eventhough it's a branded LEVI's that cost RM???++)

Warning to all guys out there "DON'T ALWAYS THINK THAT WE'RE ALREADY TOGETHER FOR SO MANY YEARS SO NO NEED TO...bla bla bla"

LOVE is 2-WAY communication, so please don't just wait or expect him/her to do something for you. You can either take the first step first or give him some hints or tell him what you want from him (don't be too demanding...A LITTLE IS ENOUGH)Well, by doing "A LITTLE CHANGE" both of you will have feelings like you're back to the SPRING aka "suzushi" period lo...sweet right?

Besides that, both have to learn to forgive each other (don't say you forgive di, then bring back the grandmother story again and again in every arguments). Some people said try to avoid arguments, but I don't agree because if you avoid means things is not solve, either he/she is keeping it inside the heart. We are human, it's hard to avoid because everyone have their own mood everyday...so, can argue a bit but make sure u learn to forgive when he/she ask for forgiveness.Don't pretend not to ask for forgiveness if you know it's your fault just because you wan to WIN ok, cause by doing that you're actually making the argument worst.GOT my tips? Wow...never thought I can write so long..

Enough 100 words or not a?I think it's enough..cause it's not my blog kakaka... Just to share something and hope to give you inspiration.

************************************************************************************

In conclusion, I would like to highlight that

Guys >> pls do something even when you are MARRIED!! Be loving, and THINK for your life-long partnet at HOME.

Gals >> pls do not demand too much. You are not forever 18 or 25!! Be compassionate and DO NOT think too much.

4 Years Plan Series - Part 14 : Admiration vs Addiction

Ooooooo....I am shivering now. It is a coincidence or what?...Part 14 on the 14th day in the month of July of Chinese Lunar Calender. I am not joking, it is bright day light and as I am writing this, I have a sense of weird feeling. Not to say that I am really scared of it but prevention is just a pre-caution for unwanted visitor tonight. As usual believe makes one devoted to something at the same time it can be an addiction if you do not know where to put the PERIOD(".") 'Everything is in the mind - Joe Rogan'...heard of that phrase before? If anyone of you have watched the show "FEAR FACTOR", you will know who Joe Rogan is. How true is it? I am 99.9% agree with what he said. Mind control is so subjective and not many people ever thought about learning deeper about it.

I LIKE...I HATE...I WANT...I LOVE...I FEAR....all these are parts and parcels of MIND CONTROL. Let's take an example...do you have an IDOL? It does not have to be someone from the entertainment industries...it can be a family member or a friend or even an enemy. If you have an artist kind of IDOL, then you will be so eager to know more about him/her. You willing to spend time to read about them. Besides, you will even to imitate their style once a while because of your admiration. Some people really get too indulge into these and I am amazed with all these people. They could do all sort of stuffs to meet their IDOL. I am not saying it is totally wrong to sacrifice something to get what you want. But what I want to highlight here is MIND CONTROL. If a good MIND CONTROL takes into place, then it is called ADMIRATION. Unfortunately, if MIND CONTROL is weak, then it is called ADDICTION.

ADMIRATION comes to those who take serious consideration on the right thing to do and understand the precise focus why the feeling pops up.

ADDICTION happen when the control is not on oneself but rather on the THIRD party they are looking up to.

So do you got what I mean? Which group do you falls into?As I mentioned before, I am just taking example on the IDOL thingy. It can be anything.

Some people said GAMBLING is bad. Is that really true? I will say not TOTALLY true. GAMBLING with good mind control is reasonable while addiction to it leads to deterioration. Some people said DOING SPORT is good. Is that really true? I will say not TOTALLY true. Those who addicted to sport and not able to study for their coming exam...what say you?

Some people said KARAOK-ING is bad. Is that really true? I will say not TOTALLY true. Those who can sing well and socialise well are top perfomers.

Some people said STUDYING is good. Is that really true? I will say not TOTALLY true. Those who study too much will go insane and unwanted pressure leads to disaster.

Alright, I am not trying to break the rules of GOOD practice but I am just trying to voice out some facts which will bring great thoughts. Do not get yourself confuse in this write-up. If one can practise a good mind control will know what step to take next. Listening to opinions, reading, socialising and eavesdropping are some of the ways you could enlighten yourself. Furthermore, it helps your mind to decide what is right and what is NOT so right. Get your mind calm and you will know what to do when you are in crisis. What is mentioned here is just another theory of how to get away from addiction by controlling your mind. Practising is another story. It is time to evaluate what you have been "HATE,LIKE,WANT,LOVE,FEAR" all this while and are you addicted or you still know your limits?

Some might said that SAY IS EASIER THAN DO. Not everyone can do it. For example, certain people got fobia. You can still fear of travelling aka HODOPHOBIA or fear of water aka HYDROPHOBIA or cockroaches aka COCKFOBIA(kidding, no such word). So I am not saying your mind is weak, it is just something special in you. Besides, no one is perfect. That is what make us human beings, we are always different. The main idea is more into knowing your limitation, whether you can break it or you could control it before you fall into addiction. Just try your best. Too much does not mean it is the BEST.

Last but not least, when you hear something knocking your door today. Just wake up and open to see who is that. If no one is around, focus your mind on something else instead of the 14-7 stories. Find ways to control your mind. Do not let your mind limit you from doing what you want. Do not let your mind go bewildered and not knowing your own limit.

4 Years Plan Series - Part 13 : Preparation

Oh well...finally, it comes to an end of my Week 2 in this new company. Things have been moving forward too quick and I am yet to cope with it. In the coming week, I will be attending my Japanese class examination and I am yet to prepare for it. Besides that, next week will be my last week in Malaysia before I depart to Delft, Netherlands for my 3 weeks training. As usual, preparation is still pending. Moreover, I have 2 proposals to finalise with my fellow partners this week to ensure everything is still moving forward when I am not around. Guess what, no preparation yet. Hmmm, by now you should already know what I am going to write for this series of my blog. Yeahhhhhhhhhhh.....it is PREPARATION.

My story goes like this....when I first making a move from my old company to this new company...I've prepared to receive order...I've prepared to get to know new people...I've prepared to walk to work...I've prepared to work along with new colleagues...I've prepared to pay extra for lunch in this 'hot' working area...I've prepared to accept new idea and do new things. Whether the outcome will turn out to be ... only time will tell. As I have mentioned in my previous blog, people tend to fear what they do not know. Just want to concatenate another phrase which turn out to me...THOSE WHO DO NOT PREPARE TEND TO FEAR WHAT THEY DO NOT KNOW. Changes happen in life, accepting it and prepare for the next step to take is what life journey is all about.

There are 2 types of people in this world. Those who PREPARED and those who are NOT PREPARED. So simple. Ever thought which type you are? Throughout my living years, I always TRY to make sure myself prepared before jumping into something that is coming to me. For example, you know that exam is coming, and there are lot of preparations required to face it. But too bad, some human beings are claiming they do not have TIME. Is that a reason or just an excuse? What i feel is more about setting your priority. There are times where we need to know what is right to do and what is best leave for a better time. Of course, there are people who have made mistake setting their priorities as decision making plays an important role in this matter. Time managing is extremely important because once it passes it will not repeat again. I am glad that for the past 5 years, my time has been passing by smoothly. Nevertheless, there are bad time....there are also good time. This is what I named it the YIN and YANG(aka YY) theory.

The YY theory comes along somewhere back in China. I still remembered clearly it was 1994 when I first entered high school. That was the time where History is a must and we learnt about Civilisation (Tamadun) etc etc. I guessed none of us - working adults - would like to flash back what we have gone through back then. Though the country will be heading to 50 years of independence, there are some remembrance back then where we all are still teenagers...and this year will mark my 26th anniversary in a month time. Let's get back to YY theory...it said that ..
- if got BLACK then got WHITE
- if got MALE then got FEMALE ( though lately we have an combination of both..2 become 1)
- if got GOOD then got BAD
- if got UP then got DOWN

If we could understand the theory well, things will just work as we want them to. When there is bad time, we must prepared for it as we know that good times will come to us if we believe. As I always said if item A turn out bad, it does not apply to item B. What we got to do is to redirect our focus to item B. Since now the website can do REDIRECTING so well, why can't human being like us. Heard of the book named "The Secret"? Well, I have not read it but I am going to get hold of it one day. Take a break and have a look.

4 Years Plan Series - Part 12 : Yet Another Millions

Yo...I am back with my next part of my 4 years plan marathon write-up. My readers have been anticipated for this, the whole week. First of all, I apologize for all the misery caused as I am already started my new job. As people said "Great Power comes with Big Responsibility". I would like to postpone my 1st week new working experience story since there is something i need to talk about this week. As promised, this will be something to do with my stocking experiences. Hope Mr. C will be glad to know I am writing this at last.....

For those who have been keeping themselves updated with the market(i am not talking about mini-market or night-market here) lately, there has been a turbulence happening in US. Due to some increase in interest over the country, it has affected most of the Asian and Europe markets. There are lots of worries going around because of the sudden drop in the stock exchange. Frankly speaking, I have been making investment in it for the past 1year. No doubt I have been making losses since then. Investment is more than making money. It requires knowledge, experience and also some patience to get things right. Though 1 year is not a very long time, but I have been losing almost 5 figures amount. Many people will be wondering what the hack am i doing. Seriously, this is not a small figure to me. People like me who got only earn a couple of RINGGITTO every month after 176 hours a month, it does make a big impact to me. I guess all this while I have been a trader instead of an investor. The biggest mistake a trader does is BUY HIGH and SELL LOW because of the fluctuation of the market. Whereas an investor will never fear what the market will turn up to be since the money they invested is for long term. At the same time, they buy QUALITY shares.

This is similiar to SHOPPING. When we shop, it is good to buy QUALITY stuff at a reasonable price. In this generation where most city dwellers are more concern is...QUALITY. Quality products really last longer compared to cheap one. For example, when you buy a car. If you could really afford a QUALITY car, get it and it will last you for 5 years without any BIG worries. Sometimes it might be cheap to get one that is BIG and NICE externally, unfortunately what is within that matters. So what I have learnt from the stock market is that INVEST in quality instead of quantity. Go for those with HIGH DIVIDEND YIELD, go for those that has good ANNUAL REVENUE and go for those that you could see them PERFORMING WELL year-after-year. EXAMPLE : Look at R, so many people willing to go up the hill to enjoy the Theme Park and Entertainment Arena. Look at U, they are developing the biggest project in the southern region. Look at M, they going to build the second norther link. Well, I could say the tuition fees to get this experience is costly but it worth taking it. If you never fall, how you learn the way to get up anyway. May be I am not the lucky one who have professional to give me guidance into thinking more to INVESTING rather than TRADING. From now on, I really getting myself into investing in quality products. Anything that can last me 5 years is GOOD. If I have a good financial statement, I will buy a GOOD QUALITY car....or I will buy a GOOD QUALITY notebook...or I will buy a GOOD QUALITY house or I will buy a GOOD QUALITY lcd tv and so on.

Another thing I have learnt is BE MORE PATIENT. You need to know when to buy and when to sell. Of course, I am not talking about listening to rumours on buying or selling. Why we invest? Because we want our investment to bring us profit as it will be compounded year after year. Furthermore, we can just take a small portion of our salary to make an investment according to our capability. Never go to the extreme unless you are MILLIONAIRE or you have a MONEY-GENERATING MACHINE. Do not blame the market or blame anyone when doing investing as all the decision is still depends on you. Never let the market or other's opinion to decieve you from believing the QUALITY stock that you are investing. Be a SMART investor and not a EMOTIONAL one.

Now I have already make my move to get myself attached to QUALITY stocks, hence I do not worry much on the market ups and downs now. And of course, there must be on and off monitoring and keeping myself updated to the market performance. I am confident that the market will rebound again based on the strong fundamental of our economy growth. I am not a fund manager, you can ignore me. But trust me if 1997 crisis does reoccur, it will not affect people who are DEBT-FREE.

As usual, all these are my personal experiences. If it suits you, think about it and give it a try. If all these are just another B*LLS**T for you, just ignore it. May be what really make someone realise is by experiencing it. You can try to be a trader. And hope you will succeed. If you do, please do buy me lunch! There are lots of way of investing, be it in stocks or knowledge...always look for QUALITY!!! Good Luck

4 Years Plan Series - Part 11 : The Rebellion or The Battalion

Hmmmm...I still do not know why. I keep telling myself that I should stop writing and focus on my new job tomorrow. However, I promised someone that I need to write something about my SWAT. Actually, I have heard stories from friends that they have very bad time dealing with people. Some are annoying, some are disloyal and some are rebellious. I truly understand their worries on people management. Human beings are the most difficult 'living things' to train.

Let's talk about my SWAT. They are my Super Wonderful A-Team. This team is extremely amazing. We have actually gone through the toughest time ever but we cultivated the result together. This team comprises of ...

Mr. A
Mr. F
Mr. T
Mr. H
Mr. P
Mr. W
Mr. Z

Some have engaged in project like G, some have engaged in project like C&S and some even both. There are times where we have to work till late at night. Not in cosy places but in noisy and dirty environment. There are time where we have to handle clients. Not those kind one but fussy and bad-tempered people. I always pray hard that things will be better and this hope is what keeping us going. My dear fellow team mates, do understand there are difficult times in life... but once we managed to overcome these obstacles...things will turn out good. I would like to apologize for all the troubles that we have to go through. Forgive me and may you find better ways to work things out. But i never regret working with such an extraordinary team. Glad that we can focus on the work and there is no political issue among us. This is also another reason why i have stayed in the company all these years. Give ourselves a thumb-up and keep it up. I do understand that people do come and go in a company, sometimes I am happy to see them leaving for a better opportunity out there. And of course, it is sad that the team is missing another talented person. But now that I have left too, I hope the team spirits will continue to spread among the newcomers. May the forces be with you. And of course, do keep in touch and miss you guys a lot.

It is wonderful to have such a SWAT!

4 Years Plan Series - Part 10 : The 4 Season

Equatorial....hot and wet....sweaty...raining...windy.....sounds familiar? These are some of the "tenki" we all Malaysian are experiencing throughout the year. But what about the 4 seasons? Many have eager to travel 10000 miles from their home country to Europe...USA...Canada to have a feel of the 4 seasons. Do you really know you have to spend 12 months in those places to really feel what the 4 seasons are all about? May be the locals there can tell you that WINTER is no good, you better come during the SUMMER time. Or the SUMMER is too hot, change your itinerary to WINTER instead. Oh dear, so which season are you in now? As mentioned in Part 9, I want to talk something about relationship in this series. Ah.....not that I am always stuck in my bachelor-ship then I am not qualify to speak on this topic. Anyhow, I heard many stories...tales or even tragedies regarding relationship(L.O.V.E). Let me share with my audience what I have to say about these relationships and it is linked to the 4 seasons.

Season 1 - SPRING aka "suzushi" period
A very nice cosy period among the 4. This is the time where the boy meet the girl or the girl meet the boy situation. They got attracted and started dating. During this time, most of them will be enjoying the companions of each other very much. The song goes..."I love me, You love you ..we are happy family and bla bla bla bla bla...won't you say you LOVE me too." Sometimes I am happy to see couple having this sweet kind of feeling. They made me feel that how nice if 2 people can share together ... eat together....go to college together...having trip together. Of course, it made many people jealous to see this "SUGAR STICK BEAN" couple. It is more like a get to know me kinda season. Some of your buddies might be thinking you are mad and why abandon them for activities they used to do. Anyway, do not bother what they said as this is the time you are finding a real partner in life. So just be it and show your compassion and feeling to your love one. It is always legal to do so. But of course there are terms and conditions and parental guidance(PG) is needed. Normally, this period last for 1-2 years. Memories are best kept and if they could survive through the 'suzushi" period, they shall move on to the "hare" period.

Season 2 - SUMMER aka "hare" period
After the cool season, here comes some heat. Both are now more mature to think. They have their own dream and career path to venture into. He will say I need to go here and there to get more cash. She will say that I like this job and it is a dream comes true. After all, both are still tolerant and this is the time where "FREEDOM" is most important. You get to do what you want and we still can love each other but not spending too much time together. Try not to be a "DICTATOR", where you try to hold on to someone too much or give less freedom to the opposite sex. Too much pressure that cause some tense situation. You will encounter some small arguement. Then break up...then recover..then break up..then recover..then break up..then recover..then break up..then recover...hahaha..i am just trying to make this session longer..:-P
But during all these UPs and DOWNs , both really get the chance to see the weaknesses of both parties. This is the time where you like me or not...will you change or not ...will you still tolerate with me or not. If all the answer is YES....Congratulation...we move on. Same as season 1, this will be the 3rd or 4th year of the relationship. You passed!..let's move to the next one.

Season 3 - AUTUMN aka "kumori" period
Ah..hahhhhhhhhh....."kumori" means cloudy. You are not going to be in Cloud 9 but you are more to Cloud 1,2,3,4,5,6,7. "You did not call me today, wor"..."Sorry, I am too busy" / " You did not call me again wor"...."Sorry, I am in a meeting" / "Why you like to hang out with your friends more than me?"...."My friends want to drink ma, so I go lor"....bla bla bla. This is a very tough period to go through. It is like the leaves are leaving the tree!!! But no worries, it is just an AUTUMN and it is something you need to go through. It is time to ask for a break up now?..4 years of relationship...not long but not too short. Now both are busy thinkers compared to the last 2 seasons. They start to think too much now. And thinking too much without a good discussion, the storm will hit YOU. This period is much like a tsunami, you have to really talk more instead of keeping things to oneself. Talk to him/her, let out your worries to your buddies. But never let your buddies decide what you need to do. Listen to their words, and make YOUR own JUDGMENT. Never tell him/her that Jane said this, Joe said that. I could say this is a period of good CONSIDERATION and a period of DECIDING your WANTS. Once this period is fulfilled which is roughly the 5th year. Things will be alright. Couple who has gone through all this which made me admired them MOST. Next season please....

Season 4 - WINTER aka "yuki" period
Last but not least, the final season we are waiting for. No no..i am not talking about last season of "CSI" or "HEROES" or "FRIENDS" or "LOST". This is the last season of L.O.V.E. The snow is here. Better prepare yourself for the next coming year. Where both of you wanted to be? Talk about the future is more like something you need to do now. Some are fearful about this period because commitments come and resposibilities stay. No matter what, you still have to go through it. This is the stage where YOU and ME become 1. When 2 become 1. Congrats to those who manage to tie the knot and stay happily ever after. All the best to those who still can make it through and wanted to go through the same season again next year. Shame on you for those who still do not know what to do. Well, well, well. I am feeling myself a bit annoying now. What the hack I am talking. I am no LOVE doctor or FORTUNE TELLER. Why i write so much? He...he....hey, this is my blog...I got my say and this is what I wanna share, my thoughts.

-THE END-

How true is the descriptions above are based on real life true stories from friends and of course some of my opinions play a part too. I believe here are still exception cases come along but I hope i can hear it from you instead. The period of 1-6 years are just assumption, some people married without going through all that. Got something to say? Chill out and drop a comment. I just have one final word, keep those memories you had during the "suzushi" and "hare" periods .... recap on them when you reach the "kumori" or "yuki" period. It is not easy to maintain a relationship without true love and good understanding. Loving someone is not making him/her do things you want, it is more to magnify their strengths and tolerance with their weaknesses. If you could do that EXCELLENT else it is time to think whether what you really want in a relationship. This subject is kind of subjective. No one think the same way as me so the decision still depends on you. May LOVE be with you.

^tenki (Japanese) = weather
^suzushi (Japanese) = cool
^hare (Japanese) = hot day
^kumori (Japanese) = cloudy
^yuki(Japanese) = snow

4 Years Plan Series - Part 9 : Composition

Oh dear...am I addicted to blogging or what? I cannot imagine myself sitting here and start writing again for the next series of my blog. Back then during my schooling day, I never like to do composition. You know why? Because no matter how much I have tried. Even with all my brain juice pouring all over the floor, I can manage to get only 65 out of 100. I am referring to English composition though. May be I am really bad in my grammar or I have limited vocabulary. I admit I am weak in English but I know I have try my best and I have no regret. He..he..Sounds familiar leh...(*William's quote).

Guess what, without releasing I have managed to complete 8 parts of the series and Part 9 is on the way. I think blogging is much more easier where you can write what you want and what you like without worrying those grammatical sentences or variation of vocabulary. Anyhow, now and then I keep myself busy learning new words so I will not make my write-up too dull. Besides that, I hope readers out that could learn some new words too. I got a complaint from a reader saying that "minions" is not a good word to use. But based on what is available on this site "http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/minions", indeed it is valid to use. Hope I am not making a mistake. If anyone got an opinion, kindly voice out here. After all, I am also learning.

Do not worry my fellow readers. I am not waking up this early just to do this blog. The reason is I really cannot sleep as I am preparing myself for a journey to north today. Guess I am the anxious type and would always like to make myself prepared for what lies ahead of me. My friend will be coming anytime soon but who cares, I just got an idea and let me just continue writing..hahaha. Frankly speaking, I just slept merely 3 hours only. There are many thoughts in mind that is playing all over my head. I have the same feeling when
> I was 19.5 before I leave Malaysia for the first time to study oversea
> I was 20.5 before my final year exam
> I was 21 before I leave UK to come back to Malaysia
> I was 22 before the first day of my job
Guess I am just thinking too much. That is what many people always like to say about me. To tell you the truth, it is easy to tell people not to think too much. But when it really there, you got no choice but to think. I am just afraid when you do not think, it will get rusty a bit. Anyhow, after all these years, I manage to learn how to worry less and think more. So do not stop me from thinking...ok?

I could say this will be the shortest series I ever write as time is chasing me to prepare for my journey. But do not worry much, last night I have lots of topics that came to my mind. Some are self-created while some are idea from fellow readers. Well, let me give you all a first hand on what have lined up for you for rest of the week :

> The 4 Season ~ something to do with Love
> The Rebellion ~ something to do with my ex-SWAT Teams
> Yet Another Millions ~ something to do with my stock investment
> Addiction ~ something to do with addiction lor

Alright, I cannot promise I can finish all the topics mentioned above, but as I always tell people...I WILL TRY MY BEST. It is 5am now. I need to get myself prepared for the arrival of my VVIP. Sorry to making this series short as I will not be blogging for the rest of the days. Keep supporting my blogs. Till then...Adious...

4 Years Plan Series : Part 8 - The Fantastic Minion(s)

I do apologize to all my fellow readers for coming out with a very dull write-up yesterday. Sorry that I took my bed time story and put them in the posting. Part 7 is rather my personal memories of the past. In fact, every one of you should really try out the public transport out there. Though Bus 11 is still a preference for some of you, the weather is killing us softly.
Why am I rushing to write so many series lately? Some of you may wonder why. Well, I guess time is running out soon as my work is starting next week. Before my job is going to drain all my energy, it is best if I could really vomit out all my words here. Before I go into the world of “If..else..then..end if” or “while x = 1” or “E=mc2”…haha..i mean “mong cha cha”….time to get my blogging power to the fullest.

Ah…hah…..this series will be another salutation to all my guardian angels out there since the day I was born. These people are all MEN, great men that share my journey since 1981. Let’s not waste any time and start the engine…..READY..GO….

1. After talking so much about mom. Of course, this time I must pay some respect to the man behind my existence. I can say I am like dad too (though many said I looked difference from my dad, mom, brother and even sister but I am no ALIEN).Cause we do listen more than talking. Listen to my story about him now

- He seldom talked to us but he supported us from behind.
- He spent lesser time with us but he worked hard because of us.
- He never asked how well you have done for this semester but he will never miss paying my schooling fees.
- He seldom asks how my migraine is but he is willing to spend thousand for my MRI checkup.
- He seldom complains why I always get sick but he pays all my medical fees.

I can say that I have terrible childhood experience dealing with health. But I never give up because I have this angel around me. After 21 years of UPs (40%) and DOWNs(60%), I manage to recover from all those miserable things that happened. But now, dad is getting old. He is nearly 2 decades older than our Independence Day. He was one of the person who can remember things well (better than me and of course much much better than Mr.F…hehe). You can ask him about who this hot chick from US is or who this handsome actor from HK is. He can give you an answer immediately. As time passed, he is getting a bit delay in giving those responses now (Don’t worry he is doing fine, just that old and cannot remember much). I guess when the wrinkles start growing on his forehead, it is not easy to keep those memories up there. No one can escape from this RULE of life though. But I am glad that he is still strong to work at his age. Dad, do not worry. I will be your angel now. We will play more MAHJONG during weekends to help you with your memories. See you again this weekend; I will not lose this time…:-P.. Arigato Gozaimasu D.A.D for becoming my Guardian Angel.

2-3. Next, comes to my schooling days. This period of time, I have made 2 best friends. They were with me since primary till secondary. We did argued most of the time over tiny things. But finally we managed to work things out and get back together. Guardian Angel 1 was a good companion as we always take the bus back home and guess what both of us stayed in the RED LIGHT zone (different area though). Not forgetting too, a good team member too as we always team up when it comes to school projects. After I came back from UK, we did meet once but then he has shunned from us now. Is it because of something I said last time? Hmm…never mind, it is not important anymore. If it is really too much for him to take my words, I apologize. Thousand apologies.
Alright, let me talk about the other friends of mine. He is chubby and short. Ha ha. Do not feel offended wor. Just telling the truth. This fellow is really a great guy and glad that he is tying the knot soon. Omedeto Gozaimasu! He was the one who introduce me to stock investment. Though I made more losses than profits but it is something very interesting to venture in. He always updates me with the latest news. SMSed me and even called me most of the time because of stock. He is really a funny guy but I am glad that I am the first person he thinks of when there is crisis in the market. Do not worry mate, I appreciated what you did…sorry for not answering your call lately because I am BUSY blogging!! Actually I have learnt something from stock investment too. He has been bugging me lately to talk about my stocking experience. Well, may be I should. As for you, try to learn from mistake also or else you are losing too!! Arigato Gozaimasu Mr C(s) for becoming my Guardian Angel.

4. In my college day, I have made many friends. All of them are great one. But there is this special guy who I must pay a tribute to. When we first met, he came to me and asks whether I could be his team member. Without a second thought, my answer is “YES”. That is when the bond is built. From then on, we are best team mates for the rest of the group projects for the next 3 years. I was a really study nerd back then. And sometimes I do have difficult times dealing with my assignments and projects. Though he did not help me directly but his attitude towards what lies in front of him made me impressed. His golden words .. “Can one, let me show you..”. He has indirectly made me see things from another point of view. Possibility to do the things you WANT to do. He knows what he wants and he will do it. Congratulation on your Master graduation and glad you went into a company that suit you! During my final year in UK, we shared the same room. I can vote him as the best roommate. You know what he sacrificed the bed to me and he slept on the floor. I really feel bad for him. But after all, I appreciated what he did till now. Arigato Gozaimasu Mr E for becoming my Guardian Angel.

5. Entering the working world is not easy. In my first job, I have been working from BANDAR UTAMA to DAMANSARA HEIGHTS to BDR SRI PERMAISURI to MALURI. Changing my work place almost once a year but I am still sticking to the same company. People has been telling me why I am so loyal. Frankly speaking, I am not. But I just feel that working for a company required determination. Less complaint and do more work. And of course I am happy to have a good supervisor. This white hair man that I am referring here is totally amazing. I cannot believe how he can survive all these years. Learning from him was fun and glad that we clicked. Though he is a bit “kedekut” monetarily, but he never “kedekut” when sharing his wisdom. I have tried to learn as much as possible from him. I think he only mad of me about 2-3 the most. But I never keep it at heart because I knew the pressure he had which I myself feeling it when handling my team. If only we put ourselves in other shoes than we can “smell” the stink they experiencing. Frankly speaking, I am not a good student though. Spending almost 5 years with him, I could not even grab 20% of his endurance. Too bad I quit the job and joining a new one soon. Guess I just need to give myself a chance to see the world. This special man has brought turbulence in my tenure of working life but I enjoyed it. Thanks for your SMS wishes and I shall work smarter in future. I wish him good health so he could still work hard for the company. Arigato Gozaimasu Mr. H for becoming my Guardian Angel.

Oh dear, my soup is boiling…let us take a break.
These people may not be Datuk or Datin or CEO but their contributions in my life have truly made a difference. There are other guardian angels out there. But I cannot write too long. Let me share it with you when the time is right. Ok, I believe everyone has their own guardian angels in life. Mind to share with me? I love to hear great stories from you now. Please do not hesitate to tell how you feel. If you keep it to yourself, then you will bring them along until your R.I.P date. Sorry for making you offended but…………………………….

^Arigato Gozaimasu (Japanese) = Big thank you
^Omedeto Gozaimasu(Japanese) = Congratulation

4 Years Plan Series: Part 7 – Transportation

Due to my busy schedule on 09th Aug 2007, I have actually prepared this new write-up in advance at 11.15pm on 08th Aug 2007. I do not want my fellow readers to get disappointed as things are getting really intense here. Today (09/08/07). there will be a few running around going on, as I will embark a journey using our own public transportation. In this series, there is no hidden story behind my topic. It is going to be a straightforward one. This time I am going to share with you my opinions based on my real/true life experience on the public transportation.

Back then during my schooling day, when I was still an innocent boy - I used to travel home using what we called “BAS SEKOLAH” aka “School Bus”. Still remember the bus driver who always looks out for us to ensure we never get in the wrong bus. Though the bus is always early waiting for us outside my school but I will be the one who will reach home the last. My primary school was just a stone throw away from my house. But because of the traffic congestion, the bus driver aka Uncle would take a big round fetching all my others so-called ex-schoolmates home before me. As I said, I was a innocent schoolboy who do not really know what traffic jam is all about back then. That is why I kept blaming the Uncle for making my life miserable. But now as I grew to be a BIG boy now, I get to understand more the WHY. Most of times, we human beings always get angry because of what we do not UNDERSTAND. Agree?

Alright, old time story is completed and now let’s come back to reality. Just another reminder, I am having my 1.5 months break. Therefore, I have spent the time trying out all the public transport available in KL. From the very long KTM train to the high speed LRT system. It was almost 10 years since I took the KTM. This time I had a ride again with 2 of my ex-colleague. I was shocked to hear that one of them do not even have such experience before since the day he got a car. Imagine what our new generation of youngsters is having now. Are they lucky or what? The journey was exceptionally great. Though it took us only an hour ride but the experience is marvelous. Thereafter, we took a speedboat to an island. Whack me if you want to…this speedboat is air-conditioned and it only cost you RM6!! You cannot even buy yourself a dinner with that amount of money in the city. Have you ever asked yourself when was the last time you utilize such transportation?

Ok, may be I am a bit too much to talk about KTM and speedboat when most of the time, we city dwellers traveled by our precious “kuruma”. Let me touch about on our bus system and LRT systems in the city. If I am not mistaken, it was 23th of July where I have to run around from my law firm to the bank and back to KL Sentral. I could say that I am lucky to have public transportation around to save my time. If I were to depends on my “kuruma’, things cannot finished within 5 hours. But that also depends on circumstances as peak hours approached things will turn out sour. But after all, it is a good experience to try out all. How about you my fellow readers, got any chance to do the same?Frankly speaking, you all must really try out all the public transportations that are meant for us. Though I am still not happy with the linking between the BUS and LRT systems, but experience what is there for us before it is too late. If only TnG can be used in BUS that will be great. My fellow ex-colleagues do something to help those B**GGER to complete my dream before I start complaining in theStar. Ha ha.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhh……………….have you figure out what I am going to elaborate after all the grandmother/grandfather ‘s story that I have told? In short, life is just a journey. There are many transportation(routes) out there, some move slowly and some in split of a second. As a passenger (humans), we need to know where our destinations(goals) will be. Drivers(companions) are people around us – friends, colleagues or family members – they bring hope to our journey and they bring us to our destinations. One can said they can live alone but they cannot complete their life journey alone. Think again.

I would love to thank those people who have made my journey challenging and yet interesting. How about your path? Hope I am not making yours a tough one. If I did, you can curse me cause I just do what I GOT to do. I cannot stop you from what you think about me, all I can do is to thank you if you love me and ignore when you hate me. So what the hack, life continues. Pick your transportation now and start moving. I will wait for you at the other end if you are still hesitating. Chill out…..ALOHAAAAAAAAAAA

4 Years Plan Series : Part 6 - Medication

A week of blogging is really exhausting yet it is exhilarating. You need to think, you need to re-digest what you think and you need to put the things that you think into words that people understand. Got what I mean? “Taihen muzukashi desu ne”..:-) Here and there I will be chipping in some Japanese word to share with you fellow readers. May be you could learn a few here too. I have spent the whole morning thinking what to write for today and I still could not get a topic. So while I was doing some gardening and then I came across a mini cabinet. This mini cabinet has once been my favourite storage. You know what; this is where my mom stored all the pills and medicine. It is like a First Aid Kit in the house. Since I graduated and started working, I have never opened it to grab anything before. Well, that does not mean I am not getting sick. The truth is I just did all the prevention I need to ensure a healthy lifestyle. Anyhow, I still caught some cold or flu now and then. Guess this is life, sometimes you enjoy sometimes you suffer.

Alright, let’s get back to this mini cabinet that I was talking just now. On this day 8th of August 2007, I opened the cabinet door once again. No no no…I am not sick. Just curious what mom has been hidden in this box all this while. Well..well..well, as predicted, I could see bottles of capsules and pills scrambled all over. As usual, I did the tidy up again. I took out all and check for the expiry date and the medication purposes for each of them. Some really does not come with expiry and some does not even come with name. I am wondering how mom can keep such things here for so long. I always told my mom not to take expired products just because she does not want to waste money. At the end of the day, the cost incurred when taking expired products will eventually end up higher than just throwing away those stuff. Don’t you think so, my fellow readers?

I did the sorting by expiry date and those medicines which still have good medication purposes. And I am trying to get rid of all those that are not relevant. Upon reading those labels, I came across pills that “traditionally treat symptom of” rheumatism, back pain, body heatiness, ulcers and joint-pain. After reading these, I suddenly have a very bad feeling about myself. How can mom has gone through this so long and now I started to regret not asking her “how are you today”, “are you doing fine”, “rainy day wor, your joint still pain or not?”. May be....we need not ask her everyday as it will be quite irritating though but occasionally will be great. Anyway, I never regret and still happy that I have been mom’s best companion all these years. Not forgetting too, she has once been my BEST companion too. It is hard for me to write this series though. But I would like to dedicate this to my mom for all her sacrifices. Oh dear, let me get some tissue first…..brb….

Now and then, we could see so many cases of family feud in newspaper. Even killing their loves one just because of their insanity! Just to highlight the topic for this series…MEDICATION….I am trying to bring this to everyone out there that the BEST MEDICATION is not seeing doctor everyday or having your annual check-up. It is more from the within. Care is so important that most people are lack of nowadays. For example, a cancer patient who can only wake up every morning and prepared for his/her chemotherapy. It is not because of the determination to live and the care from the people around him/her. Else it is not easy to get through all those sufferings. Even if they did not pass through the whole process, but what they got is care and love. Take Azean Irdawaty case for example...take her word " Don'tcry for me, Malaysia. Instead, send me positive energy. Let's tell this cancer to go to H*LL"...

So my fellow readers, let’s start this MEDICATION now. You do not have to do it too obviously; just surprise your family members now and then to show you CARE. Simple things like
> having a family luncheon once a week
> ask your dad/mom how is his/her check up this time
> tell you aunt/uncle that you are going to buy them lunch
> spend at least twice a week for dinner/supper with your wife/kids if you are really busy the entire week.

I knew some of you have already done so, so give yourself a thumb-up and keep it as consistence as possible. For those who just realize it is too long they did not spend time with their love ones (this does not mean you only spend time with your boyfriend/girlfriend though I know you spend all your time with them since they are your ONLY loved one), better make an effort now. It is never too late to start and if you never start then it will get late. Some might think I am talking nonsense here as this "idea" has been long known to everyone through forwarded emails..etc..etc.. Yeah nonsense that helps never deplete easily. Let this nonsense be a reminder then.

Oh dear, hope I got my point clear. This is getting too lengthy. My fellow readers will be nagging me for blah-ing so long. Alright, let me put a “comma” here first, no 'full-stop' yet. Till then sayonara

^Taihen muzukashi desu ne (Japanese) = too difficult leh
^Sayonara (Japanese) = byezzzzzz

Quote of the Day :
“The best medication IS care and love.”
^( I am using “IS” because care and love must come together..care without love is useless)
